I really loved my recent stay in the Kalamata chalet at Hidden Grove.
Tracy and Tony were so welcoming and helpful, and just lovely down to earth people. I didn’t need anything but felt very comfortable that I could contact them if I needed to.
There were so many nice and unexpected touches, too many to mention, and I really appreciated the kitchen set up. It was obvious that a lot of thought has gone into the chalets.
It was a great place to relax and unwind, so peaceful and earthing, yet close enough to local towns for a day venture.
I’ve stayed at a few places down south and this one is now my absolute favourite. I’m very much looking forward to visiting again…

I have to say that Tracey and Tony have a wonderful eye for detail. Everything is thought of and included in their beautiful Chalets. From start to finish we were amazed by the fact we wanted for nothing. It is the smallest things that make you feel right at home. From the incredible serenity to the quality of produce supplied with out continental breakfast. The only issue I had was it could have been a linger day to really enjoy the tranquillity more. Chalet was perfect, clean and everything in working order. Our hosts are wonderful people, polite and helpful.

Lovely, well appointed and very private chalets. Very friendly welcome. Peace and quiet on a big forest block. Awesome hot tub on the balcony. Big comfy bed too. Pack an esky with your favourite foods and wine for a few days and just get away from it all.

I can not stop smiling from this trip. It was rescheduled due to Covid but it was a hassle free experience. Although there was other chalets on the block we saw no one, except for the kangaroos, who had joeys! Amazing listening to the noisy wildlife each morning and night.

3 days of bliss. Nothing can beat sipping champers in the spa watching the sunset through the trees then warming by the fire with a movie. There is also plenty to do during the day if you want to go out to explore the area.
The Chalets have everything you need to make your stay pleasurable, including heated towel racks.
Highly recommend.

Two mums needing a girls relaxing get away to recharge and a time out.

Absolutely gorgeous place to stay to unwind and relax. Chalets are lovely, comfortable and clean set far apart from each other in the natural bushland. Everything you need is there and ready waiting for you. Especially loved the wood fire, spa and heated towel racks. Just perfect with some wine and cheese platter.
Tony and Tracey are wonderful hosts and lovely people. Would definitely recommend if you need a comfortable relaxing and peaceful time out from everyday busy life. Will definitely be back.

Sitting in the outdoor on a starlit night is just beautiful. We opted for the romantic 3 night package which included a breakfast which we upgraded to a full breakfast the produce that was left for us was so tasty and fresh excellent quality.The bush setting is so tranquil and relaxing the lack of phone/internet coverage is fabulous when you are looking for a true getaway. What a great place to stay.. A quiet serene location with clean chalets that are well equiped and the spa is the icing on the cake. We have stayed here on several occasions and after the drive down there is nothing like getting into the spa which is preheated and so inviting. This trip we ordered the breakfast hamper and it was superb. Well presented and full of delicious choices from fruit to pancakes or even some muffins and lots more. Great to sit on the balcony and the only sound you hear is birdsong. The night sky is incredible as long as the moon is not to bright you can see so many stars. Highly recommended place to stay.

We stayed at the Hidden Grove Retreat for 2 nights and were intending to see the sites around the area but instead decided to stay and relax as we found the property has all we needed and all we really wanted to do is relax and that we sure did. The cabin was amazing, all set up for when we arrived with wood fire going and spa hot, it was amazing and would recommend this to anyone. The best thing about the whole thing was there was very very limited phone reception so you could relax by sitting in the spa with a wine looking out across the property, can't get much better than that.

Magical...
My first day back at work and people said I have the sparkle back in my eyes. All it took was 4 days at Hidden Grove Retreat to feel like new. My sister and I stayed near the lake the fire kept us warm and the hot tub was fantastic. Not to mention being able to watch the wildlife and see the stars. A breath of fresh air.

We recently revisited Hidden Grove for a four day break. Once again everything was superb from the spa on the balcony, the excellent bbq, the fireplace and the incredibly comfortable bed. We also love getting the Romantic Interlude Package every time we stay. It includes a fantastic breakfast basket including croissants, muffins, pancake mix, bread, fruit and so much more. The other highlight of this package is the three course degustation lunch at Hackersley Winery. This lunch is just outstanding. We are already looking forward to our next visit. Hidden Grove is a real " hidden gem", the facilities are wonderful and helped to make our stay super relaxing. We chose a package deal with a few extras and were glad we did. Our massages were excellent and the continental breakfast was fantastic. The outdoor spa was a real treat and the surrounding property is really tranquil. Our included lunch at Hackersley was a delight. Tony and Tracey were wonderful hosts, very welcoming and lovely to talk to. One of the best getaways we've had. Thank you Tony & Tracey for gracious hospitality.

My partner and I had a lovely time at HGR. The grounds were lovely, each day we went for a walk. Through the gums, olive trees and the kangaroos. The chalet was well set up. Fire, kitchen and the porch with the spa. The location is great to see the Donnybrook area. Bridgetown was well worth the visit. Would highly recommend to couples who love seeing the sites, time together and walking with nature.

If you are looking to get away for a relaxing weekend, this is the place to go. Lots of beautiful, scenic walking trails or just relax in the hot tub or sit on the verandah and enjoy the view of kangaroos, bird life, rabbits and quiet surroundings.

The chalet was warmed for us when we arrived and was very comfortable and well equipped. The hot tub was warm and ready to be used with luxurious bath robes provided.

We visited Ferguson Valley and Dardanup which is a short drive away with wineries, Gnomesville and breweries.

Thank you for Tracy and Tony for a peaceful weekend away, we couldn't have asked for more.

If you are looking for serenity and escape - lock it in. Beautiful surrounds and ambience! 3 night stay during the cold winter and it was an amazing escape from Perth. The wood fire was stacked to perfection on arrival and immediately had us reaching for the red wine.

Tracey and Tony were great hosts - ensuring we were not wanting for anything that was needed. The platter provided was great value and delicious.

I chose to ask my now fiance the big question while overlooking the valley and it was a perfect backdrop to a completely fulfilling trip away.

Our Mediterranean Cruise turned into 17 nights in this our fourth or fifth visit to this beautiful place. Joanne and I wanted to just relax and that is what we did. Went to nearby wineries and to the Mumby Pub on occasions but most of the time was spent doing not a lot of anything. At no time were we bored, we watched the bush animals and birds around our chalet, used the spa, sat in front of the fire and drank a little.
Tracey and Tony are such wonderful, friendly hosts and nothing is too much trouble.
Another great experience at this magic place.
We will of course be back again. Maybe our next "cruise" will turn into our next stay.

What a lovely piece of paradise. From the time you arrive and are met by Tony and Tracey you start to unwind. The accommodation is clean and in an excellent condition. The wood fire is a treat with the cold mornings and nights. Relaxing in the spa on the veranda after a stroll through the groves and Forrest is awesome. An absolute must for anyone wanting to get away from the busy life and relax. I give it a five star rating.

Second stay for us at this wonderful Retreat. Very relaxing, Everything looked after by our host. Chalet was perfect. so comfortable and clean. everything worked as it should. The Crisp cold evenings were just fantastic, sitting in our spa or the warmth of the fire inside.

We spent a lovely 3 night stay here enjoying the peace & quiet of such a beautiful surrounding. Highly recommend anyone to go and recharge from the stresses of life. My partner and I could not find a fault. We wanted a weekend away that gave us total relaxation, no disturbance and allowed us to switch off. The chalet was amazing, everything we needed, a wood fire, spa, peace, quietness, nature and total privacy.
The grounds are beautiful and the walks made it all the more enjoyable.
Lovely owners who made you feel welcomed from the moment you arrived.

Wow what an amazing place. Couldn’t fault anything. Truly perfect.
The place was extremely clean and smelt lovely.
The fruit/cheese/chocolate platter we received was amazing.
The grounds are view are beautiful and it was great to feel relaxed and have no noise or phone reception.
The spa was great and I felt truly relaxed after the few days of staying.
The hosts are amazing, very friendly and extremely helpful.

An amazing, tranquil and relaxing place to stay. We didn't move the entire time that we were there except to walk around the grounds. Although June long weekend is traditionally wet and cold, there was minimal rain and the chalet was so cozy once the fire was started. The spa was an added bonus and we used that several times. Can not thank Tony and Tracy for a very unobtrusive weekend and for the wine and chocolates. The breakfast hamper was huge and well worth it.
Many many thanks and we look forward to a return visit.

My partner and I had the most wonderful stay. It was everything we were looking for in a romantic getaway. Peaceful, beautiful chalet with everything we could need, log fire on for arrival, gorgeous tree top views and a fantastic outdoor deck spa. The hosts were fantastic and we were able to relax and switch off. LOVE ? (we even added a fourth night as we didn't want to leave)

We had a wonderful time at the Retreat. It was very quiet and peaceful. Walking through the surrounding bush was wonderfully refreshing and recharged the internal batteries. The hosts were very accommodating and welcoming. The food hampers were large and tasty. Sitting in the spa on the outside verandah was a unique experience. We will happily visit again and recommend this to anyone seeking some time out from the fast paced world. There is plenty to do in the region as well. We had lunch at St Aiden Wines and the food and wine was lovely. We had lunch at the Mumby Pub which was also lovely and the meal sizes were very large - good value for money. We paid a visit to Gnomesville which we hadn't seen in years and can't believe how big it has grown. Hidden Grove Retreat is a good central spot to explore the Ferguson Valley region which is absolutely beautiful.

After staying here for two nights it was beautiful. My partner and i had a very late check in but Tracey made sure lights were on. We then went to the reception on the morning and met Tony and he was just a TOP BLOKE very kind and accommodating, He delivered wood to our chalet and during the COVID-19 outbreak has made sure our chalet was clean and we had supplies like toilet paper and cleaner. This was by far one of the best self contained places we have stayed and the fact we had no reception just gave us time to reconnect with each other. We will be back again for sure. Thankyou!!!
